Let the FUN begin!
Dear EYB((er)s),
To those new to Restore EYB (Elmhurst Youth Baseball in Elmhurst Illinois) you might be a little confused as well as those that don’t know both sides of the story. The President of EYB and its board members run a youth sports program as if they thing they are something special and you need to be part of their boys club or they will retaliate against you and your kids. They refuse accountability or responsibility for any of their actions and think they don’t have to answer to anyone. Well, I will just make everything public as I warned multiple of their members. I will start adding all the incidents that happened over the last year here for those that are interested. The President of EYB literally told me “I am really good at getting rid of problems”, “I tell all my coaches to be careful what they put in black and white” and “everything goes through him first”.
2 individuals in late 2024 and early 2025 begged me to coach a minors baseball team. After many failed attempts and the final day(s) I finally said yes. Knowing that they were probably up to no good, considering what the President did to my son in July/August of 2023, I was very apprehensive.
The first premeditated action they made was the fraudulent background check that the Commissioner sent out. Having a background in building user management systems, I knew something was not right when I tested the link out in many ways. The link that was sent can only be sent by an admin of the system that creates a user. It is not a system where the user needs to create an account and/or a password reset is required by a user creating their account.
Once I had confirmed that the link was a fraudulent link and they premeditated the whole thing, I decided to then reset the password of 6 people I knew from EYB that were coaches or had been a coach in the last year. None of which had an account with Little League, which was the link they used. Then I decided to ask those same 6 coaches if they ever did a background check for Elmhurst Youth Baseball and what they did to complete the background check. All 6 coaches said, Yes, they did a background check and many needed to reset their password.
One of the coaches I actually called out and told him I tried resetting his password and there was no user account, he then responded with a frozen face. This is the same coach/board member that called a TEENAGE BOY CUTE (the umpire) and TOUCHED HIM. He also filed a false police report to the Elmhurst Police. Report Number is ELPC2502173
Later I was illegally kicked out of EYB and my boys were told they cannot try out for Extreme Baseball which they had already been playing. In addition, the President and Board of EYB sent out a defamatory email full of complete lies. They needed to do this to not only ensure they were the victims but also falsify perception to confuse people.
There are many premeditated situations that happened in the few months I was a volunteer and plan to expose them all. One of which will involve the same commissioner that sent out the fraudulent background check link, refused to report, acknowledge, or give me information to report the other board member to DCFS, wife works at the same law firm that harassed me and sent me fraudulent cease and desist letters, and is also a mandated reporter (which is a crime if you don’t report something. I did report this individual to DCFS and they did not do anything about it. Report Number is 4605190.
As they threatened me a few months back with LITIGATION, please, make my day as now I have all the information needed to press charges! I have tried to get help for this matter yet it seems to go nowhere, hence the website.
Below is some updates from the base
More to come,
John Colianne
Guess DCFS doesn’t want to investigate the Coach/Board Member calling the umpire who was a teenage boy Cute while touching him. Report number is 4605190 and they had 60 days to open the investigation and was never contacted. I even reported it to another Board Member who was a mandated reporter (the same one that falsified background checks) and never replied which is a crime in itself.

What happened to the background checks? There was an fraudulent email and text sent by EYB (Elmhurst Youth Baseball) about background checks. The issue was it was for Little League and not EYB where users need to be created by an admin and not the user creating the profile. I asked 6 different coaches with 6 different responses??? The Board Member/Coach response was the best! He claimed to use the link provided by our commissioner worked. Yet, when I called him out on it and let him know I even tried to reset his password and no user existed he replied with a frozen face! Elmhurst Youth Baseball does not do background checks…. More to come!
