Back in early April of 2025, a Board Member/Coach asked me if I could make him gear for his 10u Sunday League Team because they did not have any gear. I let him know I would help him out and make gear for him and his coaches but they just needed to pay cost for everything. Then things got interesting, he wanted me to change the EYB logo because he did not like the logo. Below is the conversation with this Board Member/Coach.
I decided not to make him gear because I don’t believe in publicly displaying something that is not genuine. The logo was sent to him and I told him exactly where to go to get the prints and the Elmhurst Library (which is a fantastic facility!) has all the tools to make the hats/t-shirts. Oddly enough, he never made them and even asked me to do them again but he would pay me to do them. Was he trying to make a situation look like something it was not? After all, he did play victim and was able to file a police report and a cease and desist against me.
How is EYB fostering a culture of sportsmanship when they have Board Member(s)/Coach(es) who act in very suspicious ways. In life, the toxicity usually comes from the top and is only fixed from the top. Per the email where I was threatened and defamed by their lies and they talked so highly of themselves.
