About Me:
My name is John Colianne, and I’m reaching out to share my story with you. As someone passionate about baseball and youth development, I’ve dedicated myself to teaching and mentoring young athletes in our community. My background in Digital Marketing, particularly Guerrilla Marketing, has taught me the importance of direct communication and transparency.
Recently, my family has found ourselves in an extremely troubling situation that has affected not only us but also two innocent boys (my children) who have faced retaliation – something I cannot and will not tolerate. Despite our attempts to engage in civil dialogue, certain third parties have chosen to respond with intimidation tactics against my family.
This escalated on July 12, 2025, around 11:00 PM, when my wife received a phone call. When I attempted to address the situation, I was met only with antagonizing responses. While I believe these may have been college students, my concern is how they obtained my wife’s personal phone number.
The community deserves to know that there are deeper issues at play here than what appears on the surface. I want to be clear: I will not back down from seeking answers to important questions about youth baseball and the corrupted third parties.
My commitment to our young athletes remains unwavering. I pride myself on individualizing my coaching approach to give every child an equal opportunity to succeed. One parent recently told me, “John, not sure what it is but you have the secret sauce. You bring knowledge, fun, and excitement to the boys.” This feedback, along with seeing a first-time player decide to continue with baseball because of his positive experience, reminds me why this work matters.
I want the community to know that despite being told I would never be allowed to coach in Elmhurst Youth Baseball again, and despite recommendations that my own sons not try out for Elmhurst Extreme Baseball, we continue to find positive opportunities.
The public deserves transparency in youth athletics, and I’m committed to ensuring that happens.

During my late teens and early 20’s not only did I coach T-Ball but was accountable and responsible for all Teen & Adult programs. While many I knew were at the bars I was providing a service for a underprivileged community.
I would love to see Elmhurst Youth Baseball restore its roots and stop with the threats and bulling. Unfortunately, it has been said to leave EYB and will no longer have the opportunity to coach in Elmhurst, IL. Instead, we are going to move to an organization that focuses on the boys development and not politics.
